I'm tired of the way every time I try to download an image using Dolphin Browser it always takes anywhere from 2 to 5 tries before it will finally download.
A simple clone of Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 Metro interface that aims to provide users with a preview of what Microsoft's browser looks like
What's new in Metro Browser 1.1:
- New:History tab
- New: 8 Start page
- Fix: favorites are seen by title, not by URL
- Fix: buttons for close/minimize are on top
Metro Browser was designed as a clone of Internet Explorer 10, the Metro version. While it lacks a few exclusive features that we’ve seen in Microsoft’s browser, the program can be launched on operating systems other than Windows 8, which is not possible with IE 10 Metro.
General considerations

A typical Windows 8 installation comes with IE 10, which is made available in two editions: desktop - which follows the classic trend in what Internet navigation is concerned, and Metro – a less conventional approach that runs in the popular Metro style.
On the downside, users of operating systems other than Windows 8 are not able to enjoy the novelty brought by the modern navigator. Nonetheless, a part of the feel characteristic to IE 10 (metro mode) can be experienced with the help of Metro Browser.
Summary of its features
Much like Microsoft’s browser, this one adopts a Metro appearance and launches in full screen, with a collection of shortcuts to the most popular sites, such as Facebook, YouTube, Google and so on. However, when clicked, these are launched in the desktop version of the browser.
In order to navigate to a certain address, you have to hover the mouse over the top area of the screen, at which point you will be offered a field for entering the URL you wish to visit. It is also possible to write the address with the aid of the built-in virtual keyboard.
Other features include a search function, shortcuts to Google and Gmail, a bookmark manager, as well as a history viewer, where you can see a list of the websites visited in the past.
Comparison with IE 10
Compared to Microsoft’s release, Metro Browser shows a list of deficits, the most important of which is the lack of a tabbed approach, which restricts you to visit only one website at a time. Moreover, there are some shortcomings related to navigation, as sometimes it is not possible to go back from a site to the main screen.
Final thoughts
Metro Browser lacks in many aspects and despite resembling IE 10 Metro in some ways, it’s still not the real deal. The best it can do is to provide a preview of what the original navigator looks like, without delivering the full set of features provided by Microsoft.

Although Sprint PCS provides nationwide coverage and a large selection of mobile phones, it isn’t the most economical mobile phone provider on the market. MetroPCS, another mobile provider that uses the same type of network, is a cheaper option for customers who don’t need nationwide coverage or the latest mobile phone handset. If you choose the switch to MetroPCS from Sprint PCS, you can take your mobile phone with you, but you have to install the correct programming to the handset.
Login to MySprint on your computer’s web browser. Click “My Online Tools” at the top of the page and then click “Sprint Mobile Sync” in the popup menu that appears. Artrage 4 serial number. Open the export contacts feature on the My Contacts page. Click “Export contacts,” browse for a secure location on your computer and click “Save.”
Verify that your Sprint PCS phone is compatible with the MetroPCS network. (See Reference 2) Locate the nearest MetroPCS store and verify that they provide MetroFLASH services at that location.
Take your Sprint PCS phone into the MetroPCS store. Explain that you need your phone flashed and activated on the MetroPCS network. Pay any fees associated with these services.

Login to MetroBACKUP from the MetroPCS website. Open the import contacts feature and follow the screen prompts to upload the backup file you created in Step 1. Download MetroBACKUP to your cell phone by clicking the icon from your handset. Follow the screen prompts to restore those contacts to your handset.
Contact Sprint PCS to cancel your service contract with them. Pay any fees associated with cancellation.
Warnings
Some of the MetroPCS features may not work on your newly flashed cell phone, depending on the phone model. Contact MetroPCS customer service if you have any questions about what features will and won’t be available to you after flashing and activating your phone.
